Our Story

It all started with a simple frustration—the neighbor’s yard was overrun with weeds. One evening, while chatting with friends, we joked about using drones to kill weeds. The idea seemed far-fetched, but when we mentioned it to a life coach, her response was surprising- she was interested to know more about it and was immediately interested in the product.  That moment sparked something bigger. We realized there was a real market for this, so we began researching and talking to others.  After a lot of discussion with customers and subject matter experts in the industry we came up with our revised product idea.  More to come on this, as we are working through the due diligence.

The Idea

Part of what fueled our determination was a personal concern. We never liked the idea of using synthetic weed sprays. Our dog loves to run and play in the grass, and the last thing we wanted was for him to come into contact with harmful chemicals. He’d roll around outside, then hop right onto the couch, and the thought of those chemicals lingering in our living space didn’t sit well with us. We knew we needed a safer, more natural solution that didn’t rely on potentially toxic sprays.

What started as an annoyance with weeds had evolved into the foundation of our startup—a fresh, innovative way to tackle an everyday problem with no chemicals using AI and Robotics to solve a really hard age old problem. 

Exciting Progress: Unveiling the Gen3 Prototype

We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently completed building the Gen3 version of our prototype! This marks a major step forward in our mission to revolutionize weed control. With this latest version, we’ve made significant improvements, including doubling the capacity to eliminate weeds.

The Gen3 prototype reflects months of research, testing, and feedback from our early customer advisory group. Each modification was carefully designed to enhance performance while staying true to our commitment to safety and environmental responsibility. By doubling its capacity, we’ve made it possible to cover larger areas in less time.

Stay tuned as we continue testing and refining the Gen3, paving the way for Gen4 in the next couple of weeks!

A Major Milestone: Our Journey with the BETA Fall 2024 Cohort

We’re thrilled to share the latest update on our journey as part of the BETA Fall 2024 cohort! This experience has been nothing short of incredible. From learning alongside talented entrepreneurs to fine-tuning our business strategy, being part of this cohort has given us an amazing platform to grow.

Last week, we had the honor of participating in the Twin Cities Startup Week—one of the region's most vibrant events for innovation and entrepreneurship. As part of the event, we were invited to showcase our product at the highly anticipated BETA Showcase. Presenting our idea to a room full of startup enthusiasts, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs was exhilarating. The energy was palpable!

One of the highlights of the showcase was engaging directly with the attendees. We asked few attendees who stopped by to describe our product in one word. The responses we received were nothing short of amazing! Words like innovative, disruptive, and original flooded in, and the positive reception gave us a fresh wave of inspiration and confidence.

We also received invaluable feedback from industry experts and attendees, which will help us further refine our product. The combination of enthusiasm and constructive insights has ignited our excitement as we continue to push forward with development.
